Who is Associated Eye Care?

Associated Eye Care has 18 eye care providers who specialize in all areas of eye care. Since 1972, our providers have primarily cared for residents in the St. Croix Valley and specialize in all major fields including cornea, retina, glaucoma, refractive, comprehensive, and pediatric ophthalmology/optometry as well as surgery. Our physicians are all board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and provide the utmost in vision care — from routine preventative exams to the most intricate of surgical procedures.

Our goal is to approach each patient in a warm and caring manner, giving everyone the best experience possible in our eye care clinics and surgery center. We believe that it is truly a privilege to serve our patients, and are grateful for the opportunity to care for those who entrust us to provide the best possible vision and improve their lives.

We Listen to and Respect our Patients

Your Concerns are Our Concerns, the First Time You Ask

We are exceptional in managing your vision, but it doesn’t stop there. If you have a concern, we will own it the first time of asking. We invest time cross-training our employees so they can answer questions and address concerns across all areas of the organization. However, there are times when a specialized team member may need to step in and assist. First contact resolution ensures that whoever you approach with your concern, it is owned until it is resolved.

We Take the Time You Need

Our providers take the time to fully understand each patient’s eye care needs. Appointments run longer than industry standards as we look to promote good consultations. LASIK evaluations typically take up to 2 hours as our surgeons meet with every patient personally to discuss candidacy.

We Listen to and Respect our Employees

We cannot expect our employees to treat you the way you expect, unless we listen to and respect our employees first. High levels of service come from sharing common ideals. Our employees are our biggest asset and are dedicated and empowered to serve our patients in the best way possible.

Vision for a Lifetime

For Associated Eye Care, “Vision for a Lifetime” is more than just a tagline. It is our commitment to you that we will provide the very best care for your vision now and in the future. Regardless of where you or your family members are on the spectrum of life, newborns to life veterans, we have specialists on staff dedicated to your area of need. Vision is our most precious gift, we promise to care for yours as if it was our own.

We’re in the Community

Associated Eye Care has a long history of giving back. From charitable donations to performing surgery on patients who are less fortunate, we are dedicated to the communities that we serve. In 2014 the employees of Associated Eye Care elected to formalize all charitable programs under the name iCARE. The iCARE program encourages employees to log hours spent working with charitable organizations in the community outside of work.

Why Choose Us?

We Have the Resources You Need

Some of our patients requested more predictable appointments outside of the normal business hours for their routine annual exams. In order to meet these needs, we introduced vision wellness clinics in 2014, designed to provide the same high quality comprehensive eye care to those with busy lifestyles. In addition, many of our patients asked for more convenient access to our products. Our new online store called AEC Online Marketplace opened in January 2016 and is accessible 24/7.

With so many advanced technologies continually emerging in the field of ophthalmology, it is important that we have the technical expertise in place. In order to achieve continual improvement in this area, Associated Eye Care introduced an internal educational program called AEC University in 2006 with the focus of improving skills across the organization. This program moved to full-time status in the summer of 2015 with one of its primary functions being to further advance the skills of employees who occupy technical positions.

At Associated Eye Care, We Take Pride In

  • how many people we have helped to preserve and enhance the vision they need to live life to its fullest
  • how many people we have helped regain abilities that poor vision may have stolen over time
  • how many people we have helped to regain their zest for life…

Because all of our associates believe you are so much more than just someone who has a vision problem.
