Pediatric Eye Care Announcement

It is with excitement that I communicate enhancements to both our Pediatric Eye Care and Adult Eye Muscle Programs at Associated Eye Care and changes to my practice in particular. These changes enable us to offer integrated and complete care for you and your family in one location. Our Woodbury office was opened just over a year ago and was specifically designed to concentrate expertise and testing in one location.

In this office, we have the personnel and equipment needed to care for you and your family, including access to special testing, contact lens exams, and full optical shop. You will find an updated room flow to embrace the changes needed to safely meet and examine patients during COVID 19, with physical spacing and more private exam rooms. There is a fully integrated pediatric support team, specially trained technicians, double vision experts, contact lens fitters, and opticians.

Effective October 1 st, Adult eye muscle evaluations will be done by Drs. Hickson, Lynch, and me exclusively at the Woodbury office. At that time, I will be transitioning my pediatric eye care practice to that location. I will be in our Woodbury office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and will continue to operate one day a week at High Pointe Surgery Center or Children’s Minnesota St Paul Campus.

I understand this change may potentially inconvenience you. Our Woodbury office is 10 miles and 15 minutes driving time from Stillwater; I invite you to see me there. For my pediatric patients, if another location is more conveniently located, I would like to recommend one of my pediatric partners. I have high regard for the skill and compassion each of them brings to their practice and would entrust my own care and that of my family to either one of them. In Hugo, Dr. Ann Hickson is available one day a week, while Dr. Jeff Lynch will see patients once a week in Hudson and New Richmond.

For our adult eye muscle patients, all care will now be shifted to the Woodbury office.

Please call 651-275-3000 if you need assistance with directions or to make an appointment in this location.
