Dr. Susan S. SchloffSusan Schloff, MD

Dr. Schloff joined Associated Eye Care in 1997. She obtained her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She traveled to Toronto, Ontario, for fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Schloff is a member of PEDIG, a national group of pediatric eye doctors who collaborate to solve medical problems through clinical research. She is actively involved in the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology, having served as President and Treasurer.

Dr. Schloff sees children with a wide variety of eye issues such as failed school screening exams, nearsightedness, eye crossing (esotropia), wandering (exotropia), and eyelid drooping/ptosis. She examines and treats children with systemic medical problems including diabetes, Down Syndrome and inflammation from juvenile arthritis. Her surgical expertise includes correction of eye muscle misalignment in adults and children, tear duct probings, and removal of certain eyelid tumors. 

Dr. Schloff enjoys skiing, cooking, reading and travelling. She and her husband relax in the summer at their fly-fishing cabin in western Wisconsin with their daughter and yellow lab, Picabo.
